Interruptible Air Conditioning

Central air conditioning or room air conditioners that are on a designated circuit qualify for the credit.
The air conditioners are usually controlled during the warmest time of the day. Only the compressor
cycles 15 minutes on & 15 minutes off during the control period.

Rate: Credit; $8.00 per month for bill due July, August and September.

Rebate:

$100 for cycled A/C ONLY. Not applicable if already on our cycled cooling program.
Must be installed by a certified contractor to qualify for rebates.

≥ 14 SEER - $180
≥ 15 SEER - $280
≥ 16 SEER - $330

AC Plus (Air-to-Air Heat Pump)

Air-to-Air heat pumps are combination cooling and heating systems that provide all of the air
conditioning and approximately 50% or more of the heating needs in a typical home in this region.
A.C. Plus units should always be sized for the cooling needs of the home.
Only the compressor is controlled.

It is strongly recommended that electric resistance strip heat be installed to provide additional heating at the lower temperatures.

Metered Rate:

.062 per kwh September – May
.072 per kwh June - August

Financing: 5.35% - Up to $5,000 for 5 years

Rebate:

Must be installed by a certified contractor to qualify for rebates.
