Off Peak Electric Thermal Storage (ETS)

Off Peak Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) is a program that utilizes some form of heat storage to take advantage of special low Off Peak rates. Storage Space Heating systems are guaranteed at least an 8 hour charge period per day (usually from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM). During the rest of the day the stored heat is available to heat the space. Off Peak Storage systems can be whole house heating or just one or two rooms.

Typical systems might be:

  • Central Off Peak Storages Furnaces

  • Room storage units

  • Under The Slab Cable Systems, either electric cable or electric boiler



RATES (ETS):

  • .047 per kwh June/July/August usage

  • .041 per kwh September thru May usage.



Financing: 10.25%



Terms: 5 years – up to $10,000 for installation



Rebate: $20/kw
