The Kandiyohi Power Charitable Trust Operation Round Up
will be funded by Operation Round Up contributions from customers
of the Kandiyohi Power Cooperative. Operation Round Up
contributions will be used primarily in the local area served
by the Cooperative.
How can you help?
Your electric bill is simply rounded up to the next highest
dollar each month. The extra change - an average of only 50 cents
a month or $6 a year - is your contribution to the program. If
you wish to discontinue your contributions at any time, simply
contact KPC.
How are the funds used?
Operation Round Up funds stay right here in the Kandiyohi County
area. Guidelines for awarding this money address needs such as:
Community Service
Education/Youth
Environment
Emergency Relief
Miscellaneous
Funds are never used for political or administrative purposes.
Who distributes the funds?
The program is administered by the
Operation Round Up
Board of Trustees an independent board of community leaders
who establish the policies for granting Operation Round Up funds.
Contributions to Operation Round Up are tax deductible.
Your annual contributions will appear on your January energy billing.
