Kandiyohi Power Charitable Trust Operation Round Up

The Kandiyohi Power Charitable Trust Operation Round Up will be funded by Operation Round Up contributions from customers of the Kandiyohi Power Cooperative. Operation Round Up contributions will be used primarily in the local area served by the Cooperative.

How can you help?

Your electric bill is simply rounded up to the next highest dollar each month. The extra change - an average of only 50 cents a month or $6 a year - is your contribution to the program. If you wish to discontinue your contributions at any time, simply contact KPC.

How are the funds used?

Operation Round Up funds stay right here in the Kandiyohi County area. Guidelines for awarding this money address needs such as:

  • Community Service
  • Education/Youth
  • Environment
  • Emergency Relief
  • Miscellaneous
Funds are never used for political or administrative purposes.

Who distributes the funds?

The program is administered by the Operation Round Up Board of Trustees an independent board of community leaders who establish the policies for granting Operation Round Up funds.

Contributions to Operation Round Up are tax deductible.
Your annual contributions will appear on your January energy billing.
