OFF PEAK STORAGE WATER HEATING PROGRAMS:
Off Peak Water Heating: Install an Off Peak Storage Water Heating System and receive a $13.25 credit each month.
Rebate: Conversion from electric to off-peak $200
Rebate: New construction on off-peak $100
OFF PEAK ELECTRIC THERMAL STORAGE HEATING: (ETS)
Use low off peak rates for your home heating. Off Peak Storage Furnaces, Room Storage Heaters, and Under the Slab Heating Systems qualify.
Rates: .052 per kwh
DUAL FUEL HEATING:
Install Electric Heating as your primary heating system and an approved back-up heating system.
Rate: .062 per kwh. September - May .072 per kwh. June - August
INTERRUPTIBLE AIR CONDITIONING:
Cycle your air conditioning unit during times of peak demand and receive an $8.00 credit on your bill for the
months of July, August, and September.
Rebate: "Energy Star" rebate $50 on 14.5 SEER & greater must be installed by a certified contractor to
qualify.
ASHP (Air Source Heat Pump):
Install an air-to-air heat pump and get all of your air conditioning plus over 70% of your heating from the same unit.
Rebate: "Energy Star" rebate varies depending on SEER rating & must be installed by a certified contractor to
qualify for rebates.
Rate: .062 per kwh. September - May .072 per kwh. June - August
GROUND SOURCE HEAT PUMP:
Heat is extracted from the earth by water pumped through a heat exchanger in the heat pump. Annual operation costs are much lower than all other types of heating systems. The added savings carry over to summer where cooling costs can be 30% - 50% less than the cost of cooling with an average central air
conditioning system.
